Take The Lead Women's Empowerment Conference April 28

The Smith Office of Career Services and the Smith School Women’s Society are teaming up to educate students of all majors at the University of Maryland on how to empower women in any professional setting. Workplace gender equality is a relevant and pressing current issue that the majority of students will experience upon graduation. This incredible event will include a keynote presentation by authors James E. Hamerstone and Lindsay Musser Hough on the book, “A Woman's Framework for a Successful Career and Life” and a panel discussion featuring prominent companies, like Under Armour, Northrop Grumman, AT&T, and Bechtel. The event will conclude with a networking reception.
