Tau Beta Pi is hosting its annual 5K again this year on April 7, 2013.
The proceeds from this event go towards the American Cancer Society's
Relay for Life, a fundrasing event that celebrates the lives of people
who have battled cancer, and fight back against
the disease.
The race will begin at 1100am on Sunday, April 7, 2013 in Lot XX1 (next
to the CSI building near the main entrance to campus). Race Day
Registration opens at 1000am. Participants will be able to enjoy free
refreshments at the start / finish area. Additionally,
the 1st overall male and female finishers will each receive gift
certificates to a local restaurant.
To pre-register, go to tbp5kumd.webs.com and fill out / follow the instructions on the registration questionnaire. Register and pay by March 22 to guarantee a t-shirt.
