Volunteers Needed for the Maryland Science Olympiad Regional Tournament! 2/11

Date: Saturday, February 11th at UMDCP

What is the MSO tournament?
Over 1,500 Maryland middle and high school students participate and compete in more than 30 different science events (e.g. engineering, chemistry, astronomy, robotics, etc.). We need lots of volunteers to help pull off the event and make this a fun day for all the kids!

Who can help?
Anyone Your major or experience do not matter. We need a variety of volunteers for running events, registration, directions, exam scorers, award ceremony helpers, etc.

What is involved?
You can pick which events to volunteer at, and you can choose your hours (options range from 6:30am-7:30pm)! Volunteer event supervisors can help set up, supervise, or score the games. Logistics volunteers can assist with helping lost teams, check-in/registration table, awards ceremony, and many more options. Food and t-shirts will be provided and it’s a great opportunity to gather volunteering/community service hours and a meaningful experience for your resume.

Please contact mso.umd@gmail.com with any questions or to sign up!
