Unsung Heroes

Unsung Heroes focuses on promoting awareness & appreciation for the workers on college campuses who work hard and keep the university running behind-the-scenes but often go unrecognized and unappreciated. These unsung heroes include Janitors, Food & Service Workers, Construction Workers, Security Guards, etc. We have been interviewing these workers and sharing their personal stories in hopes of highlighting their portraits of humanity through photography and dialogue. We highlight the workers on social media – Humans of New York style.
