Help us build a high-value resource commons for coalitions addressing the opioid crisis

Be part of a nationwide network of individual volunteers, schools, non-profits and other organizations that are building out a valuable “wiki” with information, strategy templates, educational tools and other digital resources that can be used freely used by other states or coalitions that are striving to address the many different challenges of the opioid epidemic. Many communities are striving to address this crisis, but far too many are re-inventing the wheel and not taking advantage of resources that others would be willing to share. Things are changing so quickly and there are so many innovative efforts that are being attempted that traditional research and information sharing practices are neither sufficient nor fast enough.

Volunteers will search the internet for promising practices, educational materials, policies, lessons learned, media, and supporting research on ways to address specific parts of a comprehensive strategy toolkit for addressing the opioid crisis. In addition to on-line searching and working from the many documents and links already in the wiki, volunteers will have access to many recordings of recent conference presentations on the opioid crisis and details of presentations for events we have not attended but where the topics and speakers are listed.

This 9-minute video shares more details. https://vimeo.com/195567154

Please email me, amelia.clouse@insightformation.com, you're interested in volunteering for 20 to 60 hours over the next 3 months to help build out this so it can be shared for free with hundreds of coalitions at the CADCA conference in February.
