Study Abroad Scholarship - Pell Grant Recipients

Are you thinking about studying abroad in summer 2017, fall 2017, or
academic year 2017-18?  Are you a US CITIZEN receiving a PELL GRANT
(a federal need-based educational grant)?

Learn about the GILMAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP, which provides up to
$5,000 for study abroad students with financial need who receive Pell
Grants.  In the last year and a half, nearly 50% of University of
Maryland students that applied won Gilman Scholarships!  We highly
encourage you to start early, so you can submit a strong application!

Please attend one of our Gilman information sessions and our Gilman
Returned Scholars Panel.  The panel is a wonderful opportunity to hear
from and ask questions of your peers who have studied abroad on a
Gilman Scholarship.  If you are interested in learning more, but are not
able to attend, or if you have any questions, please contact us at
gilman@umd.edu.

GILMAN RETURNED SCHOLARS PANEL: Thursday, February 25:00-6:00pm, 1102
H.J. Patterson Hall.  Please RSVP to gilman@umd.edu.  Refreshments will
be provided.

INFO SESSIONS STARTING SOON: Please RSVP to gilman@umd.edu and indicate
which session you plan to attend.  If you cannot attend any of these,
please email us at the same address.
