Internship: Herman and Associates

Herman and Associates: Washington-DC based (Friendship Heights) consulting firm specializing in energy and environmental regulations and legislation.   Intern responsible for monitoring state and federal fuel regulations and preparing national summary charts.  Responsible for doing legal/legislative research, calling state and federal agencies to obtain information.  Would be cross-checking information against legislative data bases such as Westlaw, etc.  Attention to detail required and excellent writing and oral communication skills.  Part-time internship (preferably for at least 20 hours per week).  To start as soon as student can!

Second position as personal assistant to president available.  Just want smart, energetic, self-starter!

Excellent for smart self-starters interested in law careers, political careers, consulting on energy, etc. Including younger students!  We have had former students work here and they report a hands-on experience, with meaningful work.  Students who have worked at Herman and Associates have also gained admission to law school handily.  The president's husband was a noted pioneer and activist for automobile safety.
