UNIV100 Teaching Assistant Application is LIVE!

The Office of Orientation & New Student Programs is currently accepting applications to be a UNIV100 Teaching Assistant (TA) for the Fall 2019 semester! This is an exciting opportunity to mentor first-year students and further develop your teaching and facilitation skills, all while earning course credit and giving your resume a boost. To be eligible to apply, you must be at least a rising sophomore and have a minimum 3.0 GPA--no prior UNIV100 experience required! Please note that this is an unpaid position, but TAs do earn 4 credits, 3 of which fulfill your Scholarship In Practice (DSSP) requirement.

To learn more about the position and the application process, stop by the Orientation Office (1102 Cole Field House) on Wednesday, February 13 at 5 pm for an information session, or simply reach out to Allie Gibeily at nsp@umd.edu. Applications are due by 11:59pm on Monday, March 4th and can be found online at ter.ps/univta
