3 Internships at The Community Yoga

The Community Yoga has 3 internships open.

• Assistant to Marketing Director - One individual

- Good understanding and use of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, instagram) 

- Some knowledge on creating flyers, graphic design

- Creative mind

- Public outreach experience or ideas

- Good writing skills 

- Good work ethic and flexibility 

- Marketing ideas 

• Assistant to Program Director -  One Individual

 – Assist the Program Director in implementing new programs and also acting as an overseer to the volunteers

Volunteers

– 2 Volunteers for the Beginners Yoga Class  and – 2Volunteers for the Gently Yoga Class – total 12 volunteers – rotation of 3 weeks

- Community classroom set up / breakdown assistance

- Weekly community mailing list

- Marketing events

- Handing out Flyers

- Available for implementation of new programs

• Grant Writing -  One Individual to assist in fundraising functions

Skills needed: 

- Excellent writing skills* -

- Editing experience (not necessary but preferred)

- * Interested individuals would need to provide a writing sample

Tasks:

- Assist in looking for available grants

- Aid in writing short literature reviews

- grant editing for technical / grammatical errors
