October 27, 10-11:30am in 1102J Francis Scott Key Hall
We are hosting a public talk and individual 1:1 meetings with program officers from the National Endowment for the Humanities and Maryland Humanities. Marilyn Hatza, Program Officer for Grants and Strategic Partnerships at Maryland Humanities, will be joined by Dr. David Weinstein, Senior Program Officer from the NEH Division of Public Programs, and Dr. Claudia Kinkela, Senior Program Officer from the NEH Division of Research. This is a valuable opportunity for faculty to hear about the grant processes, funding priorities, and grant seeking guidance of NEH and MH, and to ask pertinent questions related to your work. In addition, faculty who have a specific proposal idea that fits within the granting opportunities of either institution and are intending to submit proposals in the coming year are welcome to schedule individual 20-minute meetings with either representative in afternoon meetings held 2pm-4pm. Please RSVP for the public talk and/or an individual meeting.
