If so, please consider working for Writers' House as an Administrative Assistant (AA). The AA will work with the Writers' House staff to help pursue the mission of the Jimenez-Porter Writers' House by performing the following duties:
- Develop recruitment materials
- Updating the website and Facebook pages
- Jellema Collection upkeep
- Organize/maintain closet and supplies
- Update bulletin boards
- Attend recruitment events
- Run errands
- Publicity, as needed
- Copying and scanning
- Other duties assigned if time permits.
The AA will work approximately 10 hours a week starting as early as ASAP. If interested, please send a

Upon being hired you will also need to furnish two forms of identification, your course schedule for the fall, your award letter from FWS, and your financial aid page, showing your FWS allotment.
