I am a research assistant at the University of Maryland working
with Assistant Professor Leah Findlater. Our team is studying ways to
improve the accessibility of desktop computers and touchscreen devices.
We are looking for participants who are at least 18 years old for our
study.
The study will ask participants to perform
simple tasks that are similar to everyday computer use, like clicking on
buttons or moving over line segments. We are also collecting basic
demographic information and feedback on the tasks.
Study sessions will be conducted at our lab on the University of Maryland, College Park campus. The study will take an hour at most, and we will compensate you $15 for participating.
If you are interested in participating or have any questions, contact me at jzhang22@terpmail.umd.edu. (Please note that we cannot guarantee the confidentiality of email.)
We encourage people of all genders, ethnicities, and familiarity levels with computers to participate. Realize that it is only the technology we are testing, not you!
Feel free to take a look at our research lab’s website to find out more about our research program.
Sincerely,
Joan Zhang
