Breakthrough Collaborative- Summer Teaching Residency for Undergraduates

Breakthrough Collaborative brings together passionate undergraduates from all majors to teach our hard-working middle-school students during the summer. Breakthrough students dream of college but come from under-resourced schools. Breakthrough Teaching Fellows help to close the opportunity gap by leading core classes that prepare students to be successful in the most academically rigorous environments.

During the nine-week summer residency, you will receive extensive training, continuous support, and the opportunity to lead a classroom. Breakthrough’s Teaching Residency is one of the most rigorous in the country and provides intensive training on instruction, assessment, student engagement and classroom management. Whether you have always wanted to become a teacher or are considering it for the first time, teaching at Breakthrough will help prepare you for a career in education and will provide you with skills that are transferable to any profession.
Make the summer of 2015 the most rewarding summer of your life. The early action deadline is January 6, 2015 and the Regular Decision deadline is February 24, 2015.
