Our group is called Terpmode, the UMD arts hub. Our mission is to
promote student artists by writing about them and sharing their profiles
on our website: http://terpmode.com/
We also host many events on campus for students to display their
artwork, perform their talents and meet other artists. We wrap up each
semester with our signature event, "Terpmode Showcase," a large event
with a full line up of student performers and artists.
Our group is a diverse crew with students from a
variety of majors. You don't have to be an artist to join Terpmode. If
you enjoy the arts, writing, shooting photographs or video or just
simply want to meet new people and learn more about the campus community
than Terpmode is for you.
Our first
meeting of the semester will be held on September 23 at 6pm in
Jiminez room 2122. Terpmode will also be at the first look fair Sept. 18
and 19!
