Interested in pursuing a career in the medical field? Looking for a
great way to get involved on campus and with service while also meeting a
group of fun, motivated women? All female undergraduates are invited to
attend an interest meeting for the American Medical Women’s
Association. AMWA is dedicated to advancing women in medicine and
advocating for different women’s health issues, as well as serving the
community by volunteering at a local women's shelter. Come out on
February 28th to learn more about this exciting new organization at UMD!
First Meeting will be held in Room 1125, LaPlata Hall on Tuesday,
September 17.
