Stylus - Campus Literary Journal

Stylus is currently looking for leaders.  We are University of Maryland's only undergraduate literary journal, and we want YOU to join our staff.  If
your Fall semester looks too busy, no problem!  Our biggest time commitment is during the Spring.  Our only requirement is that you are a full time
undergraduate student.  We want people from all majors to apply.  We have listed the positions we need to fill, along with *some* of their
responsibilities, below:

   - *Prose Editor: *Organizes meetings to discuss submitted prose,recruits for prose board, reports the status of submissions to
   Editor-in-Chief.  Also manages communications with board members.
   - *Assistant Prose Editor: *Helps run meetings for prose board, takes notes for prose board meetings.  Fills in for the Prose Editor in the event of absence.

*After today *we are *not* accepting any more *Prose Editor (or Assistant Prose Editor) applications.*  You are still welcome to participate on the Prose Board and can join at any time. 
 *Applications for the following positions are due by Friday, September 20th:
*

   - *Poetry Editor: *Organizes meetings to discuss submitted poetry,
   recruits for poetry board, and reports the status of submissions to
   Editor-in-Chief.  Also manages communications with board members.
   - *Assistant Poetry Editor: *Helps run meetings for poetry board, takes notes for prose board meetings.  Fills in for the Poetry Editor in the event of absence.
   - *Assistant Art Editor:  *Helps run meetings for art board, takes notes for art board meetings.  Fills in for the Art Editor in the event of absence.
   - Copy Editor: Copy Editors are responsible for proofreading all submissions.
   - *Layout Editor: *Responsible for designing the journal from cover to cover.  Should be familiar with Quark, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop.
   - *Treasurer: *monitors funds, applies for grants, looks into fundraising, and attends all budget workshops.
   - *Marketing/Publicity Director:* Is responsible for the public image of the journal.  In addition, the Marketing Director will help recruit members and encourage submissions.
