Student Entertainment Events Presents: ABDC Winner The Elektrolytes
“America’s
Best Dance Crew” winners to perform and hold meet and greet
COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Student
Entertainment Events is very excited to announce “Dance Daze featuring The
Elektrolytes,” a dance performance with the winners of the 7th
season of “America’s Best Dance Crew” and three University of Maryland student
dance groups: Prima Dolls, Phunktions and Dynamics. The event will take place
at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27 in the Hoff Theater of the Stamp. This event is
free and non-ticketed, and is also open to members of the public.
The Elektrolytes are an all-male dance crew
formed in Arizona in 2009. The group auditioned for “America’s Best Dance Crew”
three times before being selected -- you’ve likely seen them performing on its
seventh season last year. The Elektrolytes have won numerous other
competitions, including the Hip Hop International USA 2011 Adult Division in
2011, after which they went on to finish seventh in the World Hip Hop
International competition. The group
aims to promote dance as a positive learning environment for all individuals,
regardless of race, culture, gender, sexuality, body shape, religion, or any
other factor. Their fun, insanely coordinated show is one not to be missed!
After the event, the group will be available
for a meet and greet to chat with the audience and take photographs.
