The Do Good
Challenge is back! YOU can enter your student group’s project to win
money and prizes for your cause. All you have to do is do good!
The programs that are a part of the UMD Honors College seem like a perfect fit for the Challenge. Why?
Well because we want highly motivated and influential groups, such as
yours, to show the UMD community all the good your group is capable of
doing.
Last year, we had six
diverse and innovative teams make it to the final round of the
challenge. Finalist projects featured everything from an individual
student raising money for a non-profit in Nepal to a sorority
raising awareness for a cause they’re passionate about. Together,
the finalists won over $8,000 and lots of cool prizes, just for doing
good! This year, the top prize is $5,000, and your team could win!
In addition to prizes, you could also build a name for your group
through campus and local media attention! In fact, last year there were
over 10 television stations and newspapers reporting from the Challenge
Finals.
