APPLY TO BE A TERPCORPS COORDINATOR FOR THE SPRING 2013 SEMESTER TODAY!

TerpCorps is a program of the Leadership and Community Service-Learning Office in the STAMP Student Union. TerpCorps is a student-led program that seeks to build a culture of and commitment to service by planning, leading, and developing meaningful service-learning opportunities for UMD students. Using a peer-to-peer strategy, the program develops a pipeline of students committed to service-learning from one-time service participants through program coordinators and interns. This model ensures that students voice is present at all levels of TerpCorps initiatives.



TerpCorps Coordinators:

  • Coordinate with local non-profit leaders, Student Affairs staff, and UMD faculty to plan and coordinate meaningful service initiatives.
  • Plan, implement, and assess pre-service educational activities and post-service reflection with initiative participants.
  • Participate in peer-led social identities and issue awareness workshops.
Applications can be found online and are due Friday, December 7th at 5pm. Completed applications can be sent along with a resume to terpservice@umd.edu.
