National Residence Hall Honorary

Due to Hurricane Sandy, National Residence Hall Honorary has decided to extend the application deadline to this Friday, November 2nd at 10:00pm. 

As a reminder here is some information about our organization:
NRHH is an honorary organization that places great value on four pillars: leadership, service, scholastics and recognition. We look for outstanding student leaders who have demonstrated a commitment to the residence halls and students on our campus. The person that nominated you for this honor feels as though you have exemplified extraordinary leadership qualities during your time on the University of Maryland campus and can make a positive contribution to our organization. In recognition of this, we would like to invite you to apply for membership in NRHH!
NRHH is currently working to uphold our mission and goals to promote student leadership and community service to the campus and local communities.  In addition, NRHH serves as the recognition body for the Residence Halls Association (RHA) and assists in coordinating the Of-the-Month awards on campus.

To apply, you must meet the following criteria:
-Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
-Be in good academic and judicial standing as verified by the Department of Resident Life's Office of Rights and Responsibilities 
-Have been an on-campus resident for at least one full year (including current semester) and currently live in University of Maryland housing (including Commons and Courtyards)

In order to remain an active member of NRHH, you must:
-attend at least one general body meeting per semester
-perform three hours of documented community service
-write one “Of the Month” award per semester
