Come shop at the Fair Trade Market Place!


Fair Trade is an organized social movement and market-based approach that empowers developing countries to produce sustainable products. Fair Trade UMD is excited to host the FAIR TRADE MARKETPLACE as a part of International Education Week on Thursday, November 15th.

The Marketplace will feature Fair Trade crafts, jewelry, apparel,
coffee and tea from a number of different vendors.
Come browse the crafts and learn about Fair Trade on Thursday, November 15th from 9:30-2:30pm in the Atrium Room in STAMP.

In addition on Thursday morning from 7:30 until 11:30 there will be Fair Trade coffee Hotspots! They will be located OUTSIDE at the following locations:
Van Munching, plaza in front of Tawes, in front of McKeldin, in front of Stamp, and also by the Math/Chemistry/Physics building (on Regents Drive). All coffee served will be FAIR TRADE, HOT, AND FREE!
