After-School Verbal Behavior Therapist Wanted!!

In search of a responsible individual to work with my 7 yr old son with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Position: In-Home Behavior Facilitator for a Verbal Behavior Program. $17 per hour (salary will be under review throughout the year based on consistency, dependability, and performance).

Location: Gaithersburg, MD

Hours: Flexible 2-3 hr. sessions, 2 to 3 times per week

Start date: As soon as possible

Skills Required: Be able to follow directions from the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) that will be training you.  You will learn and be required to take data daily and be part of a team. We are looking for someone who is great with children, patient, creative, and most importantly –consistent and dependable!  

 Opportunity to Learn: From a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)/Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on how to teach a non-verbal child to communicate, as well as how to modify inappropriate behavior and teach appropriate behavior. This is a great learning opportunity for students in the health profession looking to learn about communication disorders and applied behavior analysis.
