Academic Achievement Programs hiring ASTS Tutors for Spring 2022

 Are you interested in providing peer tutoring to your classmates at UMD? The Academic Achievement Program (AAP) is recruiting for Academic Success and Tutorial Services (ASTS) Tutors for Spring 2022!

ASTS Tutors gain exposure to teaching and facilitation fundamentals while providing peer-led one-on-one or small-group tutoring in a collaborative learning environment for ALL UMD students in some of the most challenging courses.

Here are the courses for which we are currently hiring tutors:

BSCI 201
BSCI 202
BSCI 207
BSCI 222
BSCI 223
CHEM 135
CHEM 231
CHEM 241
CHEM 271
MATH 140
MATH 141
PHYS 131

This is a paid position starting at $12.50/hour with a time commitment of 3-6 hours/week per course. Applicants must have a minimum grade of B in the course for which they are applying and a cumulative GPA not less than 2.75
