We are seeking mentors & volunteers for Technica, an under-represented genders in tech hackathon at the University of Maryland, College Park. This year, Technica will be hosted on November 13th and 14th. Mentors will serve as a resource for hackers to come to with any questions about their projects, providing essential assistance in bringing their creativity to life. Volunteers will be able to connect with hackers across the country either in person or in online environments. They will be our biggest help with the operations of Technica, making sure everything runs smoothly. By mentoring or volunteering, you will have the opportunity to network with other mentors and volunteers during the event. You will also receive some awesome swag and have the chance to win some cool prizes by earning stickers towards a passport book. All mentors and volunteers must be at least 18 years old if interested. All genders are welcomed.
