Preparations are underway to start seeing patients at Apex Dermatology starting May 1st. The
physician has been with another well respected practice in the area for eight years but as
natural progressions happen, it is now time to start a new practice. Apex Dermatology is a small
practice treating the patient’s skin, hair and nails with the best and most up to date medical
treatments. It is a place where the whole person feels cared for in an environment of kindness,
respect and compassion.
This small private dermatology practice in Bethesda is looking for a medical receptionist /
assistant to work 5 days a week (M, T, W, R, F; 40 hours/week) starting early April 2021. Paid
part-time hours are highly encouraged for extra training before the position becomes available.
A minimum of a two-year commitment is required.
The office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM.
Job Responsibilities include primarily front office duties along with back office duties:
Answer phones, schedule appointments, insurance and billing, receive and process prescription
requests, assist with procedures and surgeries, prepare exams rooms, clean and sterilize
instruments, etc.
This is the perfect position for a future health care professional who wants to learn all of the
aspects of running a patient-centered private practice! Previous employees the doctor has
worked with at the previous office have gone on to medical school, PA school, nursing school,
and dental school.
Eligible candidates should be extremely reliable. You will be working one on one with the
doctor, so it is imperative that you are dependable and trustworthy. There will be a lot of
patient interaction, so customer service skills are a must.
