Welcome, UMD Class of 2022! Are you looking for a non-major orchestra to perform with
during your time in college?
The Gamer Symphony Orchestra is the first college orchestra dedicated to performing
exclusively orchestral arrangements of video game music. We have performed to packed houses
in The Clarice's Dekelboum Hall, worked with award-winning industry composers and recently
played a special performance at the Kennedy Center! Our Fall Welcome event is for returning
members as well anyone who is interested in attending. If you are interested in joining our
orchestra or choir this semester, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the GSO and
have fun! The event will be on Sunday, September 2nd from 4:00 to 7:30pm in the Benjamin
Banneker room (second floor) at the Stamp Student Union.
