Student Opportunities this Spring with TerpService

TerpService is excited to announce that our Spring 2018 Terps For Change applications are now officially open! We wanted your students to be aware about our service-learning and leadership opportunities available for the Spring from the TerpService Program in the LCSL office at STAMP. Links to applications and program descriptions are below.

Terps For Change offers a wide array of community service sites; from working to remove invasive species to assisting aging communities, there is no shortage of opportunities with Terps For Change. Volunteers commit to a semester of weekly community service, coupled with 8 weekly dialogues where we reflect and explore the social issues related to our service.

To apply, log into OrgSync and follow go.umd.edu/t4c. The priority deadline for this application is January 28th, with a final deadline of February 9th.

TerpService Coordinators

This program is a semester long commitment for students interested in learning more about social change and justice while volunteering in their local community! The program consists of professional development, training and coordinating weekly service hours and dialogues. Coordinators can easily earn more than 120 service hours for the semester.

To apply log into OrgSync and follow go.umd.edu/t4c. The application closes Wednesday 11/29/2017.

Services 24/7

For students looking to volunteer outside of campus, our interactive online database services247.umd.edu
connects students to local non-profit organizations that provide volunteer and internship opportunities. Services 24/7 is maintained by TerpService staff and coordinators, and consists of over 300 organizations across a wide array of service categories.

Information about programs and sites can be found on our website: go.umd.edu/terpservice

Please remember: **You must be logged into Orgsync to view the applications**
