Like working with kids? Want to serve your community, meet other UMD students AND gain leadership skills?
Partners in Print is a family literacy program
that works with local Elementary Schools. We present workshops to
parents and children (Kindergarten – 2nd Grade) on techniques and concepts parents can use to engage their children
in reading at home. Workshops are presented on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5:30PM – 8:30PM. No experience is required! Workshops are conducted in both English and Spanish. **SPANISH SPEAKERS ARE HIGHLY DESIRED**
We have various positions available:

Volunteer
·
Federal Work Study ($10/hour)
·
Academic Credit (1 or 3 credits)
·
Internship
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
