"CJD: An infectious agent lacking prion protein?"

Crutzfeld-Jacob Disease (CJD), Mad Cow Disease (BSE), etc.  are these really the result of self-replicating prion proteins  or a slow virus?  Come, hear and question the leading skeptic of the protein only hypothesis:
