ACES Career Fair
Dear Honors Students,
We are pleased to welcome you to the first annual ACES Partners Career Fair on September 19th from 1pm-3pm. This event will be held in Prince Frederick Hall, room 1105.
This event will be smaller than the campus-wide career and internship events in order to give you more dedicated time to learn about the ACES Corporate Partners. Please join us at any time during the event. Attached is a list of helpful things to consider before, during, and after the fair.
Best Regards,
Michel Cukier
Director of ACES

Before you go to the event, read about the companies that will participate by clicking on the
link above. Facebook will also be in attendance!
● Review your resume and be prepared to be asked questions pertaining to it as well as
answering technical or STEM related questions.
● Print several copies of your resume (one for each company you are interested in).
Recruiters may look at the resume and write notes or ask you to submit a resume to
an online portal.
● Be prepared to talk about yourself. Think about interesting projects that you have
worked on outside of class, and review the classes that you have taken. If you are a
Freshman, talk about the classes you want to take and the fields that interest you.
Recruiters want to know about your interests, accomplishments and your goals and
how you might fit in to their company. Be confident in your abilities.
● Think of a few questions to ask our partners, like:
○ What is your company culture?
○ How long have you been with XYZ?
○ What is the structure of the internship program, or what full-time roles are
available?
During the Event:
● Please wear business professional attire
(https://www.sph.emory.edu/careers/documents/ProfessionalDressforSuccess.pdf)
● This event is open from 1 to 3 pm, you can cycle through the partners booths at any
point during that window, but please give yourself enough time to ask questions and
shake a few hands.
● Every chance you have to meet a corporate partner is an interview. Please act
accordingly.
After the Event:
Make sure that you check your email (and spam folder) as well as your voicemail after the fair in
case a recruiter wants to set up an interview with you.
