In light of the recent horrific tragedies this week
and over the last few weeks, there are a few resources we want to make
sure the University of Maryland community is aware of. In addition to no
appointment needed walk-in hours at the
Counseling Center for students who need support, we are also offering
two community gatherings:
A SPACE TO BEWed. 7/13 at 4pm-5:30pm, Office of Diversity & Inclusion, 2411 Marie Mount HallFor Students, Staff, & FacultyThis gathering is grounded in offering you a chance to be in community with others while thinking about what you are doing for yourself and what you are doing with others during this difficult time. We will begin at 4pm by doing some grounding meditation work and have opportunities to connect and support each other based on identity. Co-sponsored and co-facilitated by the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and the Counseling Center. Questions?
