Volunteers Needed for the Washington DC Science Olympiad Invitational Tournament!

Date: Saturday, December 3rd at National Cathedral School in DC

What is the MSO tournament?
Middle and high school students participate and compete in more than 30 different science events (e.g. engineering, chemistry, astronomy, robotics, etc.). We need lots of volunteers to help pull off the event and make this a fun day for all the kids!

Who can help?
Anyone!  Your major or experience do not matter. We need a variety of volunteers for running events, registration, directions, exam scorers, award ceremony helpers, etc.

What is involved?
You can pick which events to volunteer at, and you can choose the hours you’re available! Volunteers can help set up, supervise, or score the events. Logistics volunteers can assist with helping lost teams, check-in/registration table, and many more options. Food will be provided and it’s a great opportunity to gather community service hours and a meaningful experience for your resume.

Transportation costs can be reimbursed. Please contact mso.umd@gmail.com with any questions and to sign up!
