Team PHAGE is a team of 11 undergraduate students looking for a solution to antibacterial resistance through the use of bacteriophages. Bacteriophages are a natural way to eliminate bacteria such as Listeria and Salmonella as well as to break down biofilms. Our research aim is to use bacteriophages in a cocktail with other helpful antibacterial agents to target these biofilms and fight further outbreaks of Listeria and Salmonella.
We need your help to fund our project! The team just started our LaunchUMD campaign with the goal of reaching $4,000. Any donation would help and be greatly appreciated.
