Volunteer to be a host for the Overnight Stay Program (HighRisers) this Spring!

Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity (and resume builder) that allows students to become more involved in campus life as a campus leader and get some cool free stuff in the process!! For more information and to complete an application to become a host, please visit http://www.reslife.umd.edu/osp/hosts/ OR download the free Terp Life app!
The Department of Resident Life and the HighRiser Council are recruiting volunteers who reside on North Campus and on North Hill to host an admitted prospective UMD student visiting campus for the Overnight Stay Program (OSP). Hosts are student volunteers who are mature, have good judgment, and are enthusiastic about living on campus. This opportunity allows current residential students to have a positive impact on a prospective student’s college choice process.
Incentives
If you decide to host you will receive a free HighRiser t-shirt and a coupon to use at The Stamp Student Union food court. There will also be raffles for free Maryland pride swag during the night of OSP!!
Important dates/times for the spring semester include:
February 17th @ 7pm: Open House to receive more information about becoming a host in 1100 Cambridge Community Center (CCC)
February 24th OR March 22nd  @ 7:30pm: Host Training in 1100 CCC: You only have to attend one training. However, that training should take place before your first OSP hosting date. Training is mandatory for new and returning hosts.
March 3rd and March 24th : Our two Overnight Stay Program dates this Spring.
We hope you sign-up to be a host today to share your UMD Pride with some future Terps!! :)
