The Office of Extended Studies is currently hiring residential mentors for summer programs.

The Office of Extended Studies is currently hiring residential mentors for our summer programs.  These programs are designed to give middle school, high school, and incoming freshmen students a 2-3 week Pre-College experience at the University of Maryland.  Mentors work directly with program participants to assist with personal and academic issues, manage program events, create an overall sense of community in the residence halls, mediate conflict, and interpret and enforce campus and program policies.  The application deadline is March 18th.  More information is available here:  http://oes.umd.edu/mentor-opportunities
