UMD iGEM: Internship Opportunity

iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine) is a synthetic biology competition involving over 250+ universities worldwide. Our iGEM team has been quite successful in the past, winning a gold medal the past two years.

We're looking for a few talented and interested applicants to join our team for research in the summer of 2016. Although iGEM is a synthetic biology competition, it involves disciplines from a wide array of fields. We are looking to recruit programmers, hardware engineers, mathematical modelers, and business students, in addition to biology and bioengineering.

iGEM is a completely student driven research team, which means students choose the project, apply for grants, execute all the research, and present the research at a conference in Boston by ourselves.

For questions and to apply, please contact us at umarylandigem@gmail.com
