The UMD Pre-Medical Society is hosting a GBM on Monday October 19th at
6PM, and we are proud to have Dr. Donnenberg as our guest speaker. Dr.
Donnenberg, director of the Medical Scientist Training Program, and
Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at University of Maryland
School of Medicine (UMSOM), will be reviewing the MD/PhD program at
UMSOM. The MD/PhD program is another route medical students can take
during medical school to earn a PhD, usually in a research topic, at the
same time! Come learn about this unique program from Dr. Donnenberg at
UMSOM to see if this is the route for you! Students interested in both
research and medical careers should definitely mark this event in their
calendars, and this event is open to all students, so stop by if you
