Presenter: UMD alumna Sophia Kerby, who has had
an amazingly successful career to date (and knows all about personal
branding strategies). She has presented this workshop to other groups
of young people!
Background: Since graduation from UMD in 2011,
she has worked for the Center for American Progress, the Brennan Center
for Justice, and Advocates for Youth. While at UMD, she studied abroad
at University of Cape Town and Manipal University
(India) and held internships at Federal Emergency Management Agency,
Health and Human Services (Center for Health Statistics) and Federal
Communications Commission (Bureau of Consumer and Governmental
Affairs). She was also a Gilman Scholar. She will answer
any questions! Learn how she made it all happen! She is eager to help
