SPJ Investigative Journalism Panel Wednesday, November 19, 7:30 p.m. in 1208 Knight Hall (Eaton Theater)

Come learn more about the state of investigative journalism and hear from professionals about the challenges they’ve faced in the field.  The panel will include:

• Merrill College Knight Chair  in Public Affairs Journalism Dana Priest, a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter at The Washington Post;  
• Tisha Thompson, an investigative reporter at NBC4 Washington;
• Rick Yarbrough, an investigative platform manager and former investigative producer at NBC4 Washington;
• Joce Sterman, an investigative reporter at WJLA in Washington who formerly worked at ABC2 in Baltimore;
• Deb Nelson, a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter and professor here at the Merrill College.
