Be Yourself, Make a Difference: Neurodiversity

"One of the most powerful things I have learned as a teacher, is that there are many different paths to the mastery of concepts and the acquisition of knowledge. For example, some of us learn new things best when our teacher is able to make between a new idea and something we are already familiar with. Others of us need to do things (draw pictures, build prototypes, design experiments, write) in order to understand things.

Such differences in learning, and as well as those associated with ADHD, dyslexia, discalculia, and the autism spectrum, because they are differences, are valued not only here at the University, but also in the professional world.

If you are interested in learning more, think about finding time for the event below."
