A Life in Animation Talk- April 17

The Individual Studies Program is sponsoring an 
​event with ​
IVSP alumni, Bob Moyer, who will be giving a talk on campus on Tuesday, April 17 at 5:30pm in 1101 Biosciences Research Building on "A Life in Animation".  

Bob Moyer is the supervising technical director on an upcoming feature at Pixar Animation Studios. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 2000 with an Individual Studies Program BA in Computer Graphics. Mr. Moyer has been with Pixar since his graduation, developing characters and sets on films such as "Cars," "Ratatouille," "Cars 2," "Up," "Cars 3," "CoCo," and the recent Oscar-winning "Inside Out." He resides in Alameda, California with his wife.  He remains active with the University of Maryland, delivering addresses for the Individual Studies Program, 2009 commencement, and Honors College 2010 convocation. He was honored in 2009 with a Distinguished Alumni Award for the College of Undergraduate Studies.   

This event is open to everyone and there
is a reception that follows.
