Russian speakers needed for a virtual reality study

The University of Maryland Center for Advanced Study of Language (CASL) is recruiting advanced learners of Russian to participate in a virtual reality study. The goal of the project is to assess the effectiveness of a 360-degree cinematic video for language learning.

You will earn $15 for participating.

To participate, you must be:
• At least 18-years old
• An advanced learner of Russian (at least four semesters of post-high school foreign language study)
• Not a native speaker of Russian

If volunteer, you will be asked to view a video in Russian and perform a series of language tasks during one 60-min session. The study session will be held on campus.

If you are interested in participating or if you would like more information, please email egolonka@umd.edu.
