The Salzburg Academy was easily one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. Living and studying in a palace, exploring European cities, and hiking the Alps were all incredible opportunities- but the most rewarding part of the trip was truly the people I spent it with. The Academy is unique in that it brings together students and faculty with incredibly diverse backgrounds to discuss global issues. Not many people can say that they have friends from Kenya, Hong Kong, Syria, Mexico, Sweden, and more. I’d encourage anyone who is looking for an eye-opening, inspiring, and just plain fun experience to apply! --Casey Tomckek
