Free Performance: Historical figures come to life at the National Portrait Gallery - 12/3 & 4

The Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies department is continuing their tradition of partnering with the National Portrait Gallery in D.C to present this year's performance The Measure of Our Lives. This performance is a special interactive tour of the gallery during which historical figures whose portraits are in the gallery are brought to life. Audience members will hear original monologues and have the opportunity to interact with the characters, who are played by theater students from this university. 

The characters at this year's performance will be Mary Baker Eddy, Cesar Chavez, Gwendolyn Brooks, Marian Anderson, Lynn Fontanne, Albert Einstein, Paul Lawrence Dunbar, Helena Rubinstein, and Juliette Gordon Low.
When: Saturday, Dec. 3 & Sunday, Dec. 4, at 12 and 2:15 pm on both days. 
Where: The National Portrait Gallery, 8th and F St NW, Washington, D.C
Meet at the F St entrance. 

All performances are free
