My name is Caralyn Bushey and I am the Student Services Coordinator at The Maryland English Institute here at UMD. I would like to take this opportunity to invite your students to participate in our Speaking Partner Program. This is a program in which one of our international students is matched up with a UMD student for the purpose of practicing English with a peer. It is a great opportunity for our international students to learn about American culture and of course it is a great opportunity for volunteer Speaking Partners to learn about the culture of the international student with whom they have been matched!
