VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Honors Convocation Thursday, August 27th

Dear Honors Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors –

 

Please consider volunteering as a Marshal for Honors College Convocation on Thursday, August 27th. The Honors College community will formally welcome our new first-year students at this important event. Here are details about the commitment.

 

Event:                   Honors College Convocation

Date:                     Thursday, August 27th 

Time:                    5 PM - 9 PM

 

Location:             Memorial Chapel (We will meet in Anne Arundel at 5 PM.)

 

Duties:                 Help set up for the event, greet and usher guests, help clean up after the event

 

Attire:                   We will provide you with a t-shirt.

 

Perks:                   A pizza dinner will be served at 5 PM in Anne Arundel!

 

If you are able to help, please sign up by Wednesday, July 29^th. We will try to arrange early move-in for volunteers who live on campus, but you must sign up by July 29^th.  Questions? Contact Erin Wessell, Honors College Associate Director, at ewessell@umd.edu.
