NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION GRADUATE FELLOWSHIP - SUMMER­ INFORMATION SESSIONS

ARE YOU PLANNING GRADUATE STUDIES IN SCIENCE, MATH, ENGINEERING, SOCIAL, OR BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES? ARE YOU A RISING FIRST OR SECOND YEAR GRADUATE STUDENT IN THESE FIELDS?

The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship is the largest and one of the most prestigious awards available to support graduate study in the science, math, engineering, and social/behavioral sciences. The NSF award provides 3 years of support, with an annual stipend of $34,000. You can learn more about the NSF award at www.nsfgrfp.org

The National Scholarships Office is providing summer information sessions that will help you get an early start on developing a competitive NSF graduate fellowship application. Current undergraduates at all levels and recent alumni are welcome to attend, as are those who will be first or second year graduate students in Fall 2015.

Eligibility: You must be a US citizen or Permanent Resident to apply for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. You must have less than two years of complete graduate studies at the time of application (fall 2015).

Deadlines to apply will be in late October / early November 2015. Starting early give you your best chance of success!
