Climate Change Art and Essay Contest - Deadline April 17

Want the opportunity to display your creativity? Speak out for climate action on UMD’s campus? Win prizes like $100 to the University Bookstore, $75 to MOMs Organic Market, or $100 to NuVegan Cafe? Then you should participate in the Student Government Association’s Climate Change Art and Essay Contest!

Submit a 300-500 word essay, poem, or piece of artwork (photograph, drawing, or painting) answering the question: “Why is it important to you personally to fight climate change?” by April 17th and you could be chosen to win one of the prizes above!

Your submission may be selected and used to show University leaders how important sustainability and fighting climate change is to our campus community, and urge them to take greater action! Read more about the contest here, and contact omgutin@gmail.com with any questions or concerns! We look forward to seeing you submissions!
