AGNR Student Council presents Careers in Agriculture and Natural Resources
Join us for a Panel and Discussion on Tuesday, March 25 from 5:00pm –
7:00pm in 0200 Skinner. Come meet six leaders in Maryland Agriculture
to learn about the diverse career opportunities available in their
organizations and the agricultural community. Panelists include George
Mayo, Director of the MD Agricultural Education Foundation, Kathy
Zimmerman, Agricultural Economics Director of Howard County, and Emily Gowin,
Animal Inspector from the Maryland Department of Agriculture. They will
discuss career areas revolving around Economic Development, Policy,
Education, Animal Health and Welfare, and Communications. Light
refreshments will be provided.
