Are you interested in getting involved in research this spring?

Here is a great opportunity to do interesting work related to sexual selection, animal behavior, and animal psychology.

We are recruiting students to analyze videotapes of satin bowerbird behavior collected in Australia.  You can learn how to categorize and score animal behavior while contributing to a long-term project on sexual selection in Professor Gerald Borgia's lab.  You can work for credit (3 hours/week = 1 BSCI399 credit) or as a volunteer.

You can read a little more about the project at http://www.life.umd.edu/biology/borgialab/index.html

This is a great chance to get research experience with a focus on zoology, biology, and psychology.  All necessary training will be provided. We ask that you work at least 6 - 9 hours/week. Times are quite flexible.

If interested, please e-mail Joshua Kiner (jkiner@umd.edu).
